1-Rhinitis -: defined as an acute and chronic inflammation of the external nose and nasal cavity due to ;
Infection both viral and bacterial
Allergy and vasomotor rhinitis
Physical and chemical trauma of the nose
Mostly those factors are combined together
Furunculosis :-
Its acute staphylococcus infection of the sebaceous gland of vestibular hear follicle
C. P 1- redness and tenderness with sever pain at the tip of the nose
2-sever head ach and fever
Treatment ;- 1-antibiotic as flucloxacillin
2-analgesia
3-dranige of the abscise ( don’t squids the abscise area ) to prevent cavernous sinus thrombosis .
Common cold :-its an acute viral infection of the nasal mucosa usually complicated by bacterial infection .
Pathogeneses : transient ischemia fallowed by hyperemia and profuse clear fluid discharge from the nose than became mucopurulant due to secondary bacterial infection
